North Texas ITF Taekwon-Do is a 501c3 nonprofit organization established to assist the students of Poteet Martial Arts with financial needs associated with practicing Taekwon-Do. North Texas ITF Taekwon-Do helps these students achieve their goals by providing financial assistance with tuition and competition expenses. Students have opportunities to compete locally and even internationally. North Texas ITF Taekwon-Do also offers financial assistance for the Special Needs Taekwon-Do class (Posse Outlaws) at PMA that provides an opportunity for people with various challenges to learn new skills and self-defense. This class is inclusive but not limited to: developmental challenges, learning disabilities, Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social Communication Disorder, ADD, and ADHD.

Mr. Philip Schlabach started training in ITF Taekwondo in May of 2009 at Cross Martial Arts Center of Midlothian, Tx, where he earned the rank of red belt. Mr. Schlabach started training at Poteet Martial Arts in October of 2013 and earned his black belt on August 23, 2014. He competed at the 2014 USA National Championship where he won 3rd in the nation for Men’s Middle Weight Sparring. The following week, Mr. Schlabach was asked to be a Coach for Team USA for the 2015 Taekwondo World Championship in Italy. He coached 7 events in 3 different categories. After becoming a USA team coach, he began instructing at Poteet Martial Arts, something he currently does to this day.
