February 2021 WE HAVE MISSED YOU ALL!
1. WE ARE OPEN! ALL classes resume TODAY 2/1/2021! Everything is CLEAN and SANITIZED and ready for your return! Masks are suggested, but not required. Please do what you/your family are comfortable with. We will continue to sanitize everything between classes daily as well as work to maintain distancing as best as possible.
2. Congratulations Katelyn Soukup for winning the practice during the closure contest. She gets her choice of a new student uniform or a 1-hourprivate lesson with Mr. or Mrs. Poteet 3. Speaking of student uniforms – if you have been waiting on a NEW one, they are in! Cost is $60 each. We also have new Deputy Dragons t-shirts in white and purple as well as Deputy Dragon gear bags. The table is also still full of SALE items! Please see Mr. or Mrs. Poteet.
4. Our February Fitness challenge is up and running. It is posted at the studio and there are copies if you want to take one home to keep up, this month we SQUAT!
5. Tuition is due for the month of February unless you are set up on bank draft. You can receive the on time discount today and tomorrow, otherwise it is the regular amount. There is a $20 per student late charge for those payments received after the 15th. For all draft students, it will proceed as normal on the 5th or 15th,however you are set up. Remember, if you want to pay via draft you get a $20per student discount! We unfortunately cannot offer a credit or refund for the10 days of classes we were unable to be open in February. We do however want to remind you all that all color belts ages 8+ are welcome to attend classes Monday – Thursday at 6 pm (encourage at least 2x weekly, but do not limit class attendance), we offer color belt tests at NO charge to you, no one is under a contract (meaning if you need to have a break for personal reasons, you can without penalty), we offer Fitness Kickboxing at NO charge for all TKD student sages 13+ and for only $30 a month versus $50 for TKD immediate family members, we offer Zumba for ages 13+ TKD students and their immediate family members for$50 versus $75 for a 10 class pass. We also offer periodic FREE self-defense classes AND open floors. For all our Deputy Dragons, we will make sure to pack your classes FULL to make sure everyone is on track for their testing later in the month. We appreciate your understanding.
6. For those wanting to get a heart pumping workout, ages 16+, with their own rides, may join Mrs. Poteet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings at 7 am. It is a 30-minute cardio workout, no equipment required, no cost to you! Please wear comfortable athletic attire and bring water & show up!
7. We will NOT be offering kids kickboxing PE classes this semester. Sorry for the inconvenience.
8. We will NOT be hosting our scheduled March tournament. We have decided to have both color belt and black belt events at our scheduled summer tournament 6/26/21 instead. We are hopeful that more students will be able to travel to attend by then. Thanks for your understanding.

February 23rd & February 25th - Deputy Dragons Belt test 5 pm (Tuesday – Kicks, breaks, knowledge) Thursday – Patterns, Step-Sparring, Self-Defense) FULL uniform BOTH days, stripes and stars will be awarded at the conclusion on Thursday.
February 27th – Carter Blood Drive – see fliers at the studio – We recommend making a reservation! 10 am – 4pm.
