Poteet Martial Arts will once again be hosting our Lone Star Invitational! This year we are excited to announce that our tournament will be a two day event! Saturday 9/14/24 will be our ITF Taekwon-Do Tournament will Sunday 9/15/24 will be our first ever WAKO USA Kickboxing Tournament!!
If you enjoy Patterns, Sparring, Power Breaking, Kickboxing, Point Fighting, whether it is one event or all, we will ensure you have competition to go with!
Additionally for ITF Taekwon-Do we will have Adaptive Needs Categories

Mr. Philip Schlabach started training in ITF Taekwondo in May of 2009 at Cross Martial Arts Center of Midlothian, Tx, where he earned the rank of red belt. Mr. Schlabach started training at Poteet Martial Arts in October of 2013 and earned his black belt on August 23, 2014. He competed at the 2014 USA National Championship where he won 3rd in the nation for Men’s Middle Weight Sparring. The following week, Mr. Schlabach was asked to be a Coach for Team USA for the 2015 Taekwondo World Championship in Italy. He coached 7 events in 3 different categories. After becoming a USA team coach, he began instructing at Poteet Martial Arts, something he currently does to this day.
